Weigh
Metabolic and weight care
Weight care here starts with measurement, not a prescription pad. We look at how your body actually burns energy before deciding what to change, because two people at the same weight often need opposite plans.
Metabolic testing
Also called PNOĒ
- What it is
- A breath-based test that measures how efficiently your body uses oxygen and which fuel it burns at rest and under load.
- Who it is for
- Anyone starting a weight or fitness program who wants a baseline instead of a guess.
- What to expect
- Roughly an hour including the walk-through of results. You leave with numbers that are yours, not a population average, and they inform everything else in this pillar.
Peptides
- What it is
- Prescription peptides used inside a supervised weight program, where they are the right call for you.
- Who it is for
- People already in a program, after a consultation and labs. Not a first-visit treatment, and not a replacement for the rest of the plan.
- What to expect
- Prescribed by name, for you individually, and filled by a licensed compounding pharmacy. Nothing is sold from the office. What a pharmacy can lawfully supply has moved repeatedly, so our list is shorter than what you will see advertised elsewhere.
Not FDA-approved for this use. We'll go through what is and isn't known at consultation.
Medical weight management
- What it is
- A supervised program combining nutrition guidance, regular monitoring and, where appropriate, prescription medication.
- Who it is for
- People who want weight care with a clinician attached to it. Suitability is decided at consultation, and medication is not the starting point for everyone.
- What to expect
- Ongoing visits rather than a one-off. Expect a full history, labs, and a conversation about what has and hasn't worked before. Where medication is appropriate we prescribe FDA-approved products and tell you what they cost.
- What we won't do
- Put you on something without monitoring, or keep you on it without reviewing whether it's still the right call.
Patient guides
- Preparing your injection at home Refrigeration, what you will need, and the six steps from washing your hands to disposing of the needle.
Individual results vary. Everything on this page is general information, not medical advice, and nothing here is a promise of a particular outcome. Some of the treatments described are not FDA-approved for the uses discussed. Whether any of it is appropriate for you is decided at consultation with a licensed clinician, who may well tell you that it is not.
What we offer changes as the team, the products and the rules around them do. This page is kept current, but call the office to confirm a treatment is available - and available at the location you are going to - before you make the trip.
Not sure which of these applies to you?
That is what the consultation is for. Come in, describe what is bothering you, and we will tell you what we would actually recommend, including when the answer is nothing.
