Privacy and terms
How this practice handles your information, your rights over your health records, and the terms that apply to using this website.
Website privacy policy
Covers this website · Last updated August 17, 2026
This policy covers this website. It does not cover health information created during treatment, which is governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices below.
The short version
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and contains no advertising or tracking pixels. It does not build a profile of you and it has nothing to sell to anyone. There is no form on it, so there is nothing you can type into it that reaches us.
What this website collects
Nothing you enter, because there is nothing to enter. The site is a set of fixed pages. It has no contact form, no newsletter signup and no account.
As with any website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard technical logs, which include IP addresses. Those logs are kept by our hosting provider under its own terms and are not used by us to identify anyone.
Information that does not come here
Booking. The booking button opens a scheduling service operated by a third party on its own domain, under its own privacy terms. Anything you enter there is received by that service, not by this website.
Rewards programs. The member login links go to programs run by the manufacturers of the products we use. Those are their accounts, on their systems, under their terms.
Health information. No part of this website asks for it, and none should be sent to us through it.
Third parties this website relies on
Hosting only. The typefaces are served from this site rather than from a font network, and there are no embedded analytics, advertising or social tracking scripts of any kind.
Children
This website is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, including children. The practice treats adults only.
Notice of Privacy Practices
Mana Wellness & Aesthetics, LLC · Effective August 17, 2026
This notice describes how medical information about you may be used and disclosed, and how you can get access to this information. Please review it carefully.
This notice applies to Mana Wellness & Aesthetics, LLC and is followed by everyone in the practice who handles your medical information. Care is provided in New Jersey only.
Our commitment
We are required by law to protect the privacy of your protected health information, to give you this notice of our legal duties and privacy practices, and to follow the terms of the notice currently in effect. Protected health information is information about you, including demographic information, that may identify you and that relates to your past, present or future health, care or payment for care.
How we may use and disclose your information without your authorization
Treatment. To provide, coordinate and manage your care, including sharing information with another clinician we refer you to.
Payment. To obtain payment for the care we provide. This is a private-pay practice and we do not bill insurance.
Health care operations. For the tasks that keep the practice running and the quality of care up, such as reviewing our own outcomes.
Appointment reminders. To contact you about scheduled appointments, including by text message where you have given a number.
As required by law. Including public health reporting and valid legal process.
Uses that always require your written authorization
Marketing, any sale of your information, and any use of your photographs or your story in advertising, on social media or on this website.
Photographs taken during treatment are part of your medical record and are not published anywhere. Before-and-after images appear publicly only where the patient has signed a separate written authorization covering that specific use. Signing it is voluntary and entirely your choice: we will not condition treatment, pricing or availability on it, and most patients never sign one.
You may revoke that authorization in writing at any time. Revocation stops further use from that point, but cannot retrieve an image already published or printed — which is the part worth understanding before signing.
How long records are kept
Seven years from the last date of service. The practice treats adults only, so the longer retention rules that apply to records of minors do not arise.
Your rights
You may inspect and get a copy of your records, ask us to correct them, ask for an accounting of certain disclosures, ask us to restrict a use or disclosure, ask to be contacted a particular way or at a particular address, get a paper copy of this notice, and be told if your information is breached. Requests for records should be made in writing.
Our duties
We must keep your protected health information private, give you this notice, and follow the version currently in effect. If we change it, the new version applies to information we already hold as well as to information we receive afterwards, and the current version will be posted here.
How to complain
If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, contact the practice's Privacy Officer, Marc Musni, owner, on (201) 824-2200, or in writing at:
Privacy Officer, Mana Wellness & Aesthetics, LLC
3125 Rt 10 East, Ste 2B
Denville, NJ 07834
Written requests about your records — to inspect them, get a copy, or ask for a correction — go to the same address.
You may also complain to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, at 200 Independence Avenue SW, Washington, D.C. 20201, or through hhs.gov/ocr/complaints. You will not be penalized, and your care will not be affected, by making a complaint either way.
Who else handles your information
One company: Podium, which is both the practice's records system and its scheduling system. It holds your medical record and the contact and appointment details you enter when you book.
A business associate agreement is in place with Podium. That is a contract required by law which binds them to protect your health information under the same rules the practice follows, and limits them to using it for the services they provide to us.
No other company holds your health information. The rewards programs linked from this site are run by product manufacturers on their own systems and receive nothing from us.
Terms & conditions
Last updated August 17, 2026
This website is not medical advice
Everything here is general information. It is not medical advice, and reading it does not create a patient–provider relationship. Whether any treatment is appropriate for you is decided at consultation with a licensed clinician, who may well tell you that it is not.
This website is not for emergencies
If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. The practice does not provide emergency or after-hours crisis services, and messages sent to us are not monitored continuously.
Results are not guaranteed
Outcomes vary between individuals and depend on factors including body chemistry, healing response and lifestyle. Some treatments described on this site are not FDA-approved for the uses discussed. Nothing here is a promise of a particular result.
Fees, payment and appointments
This is a private-pay practice and insurance is not billed for any service. A $100 deposit secures an appointment and is applied toward the cost of your services. Cancellations and changes require 24 hours' notice; less than that, or a missed appointment, is charged a $50 fee to the card on file. All sales are final. The full terms are on the policies page.
Intellectual property
The text, photographs, logo and design of this site belong to the practice and may not be reproduced without permission.
Links to other websites
Booking, the member rewards programs and the financing partners are operated by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or their practices.
Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated, and the date above shows when they last changed.
These terms are governed by the law of the State of New Jersey, where the practice operates and where care is provided.
Medical direction
The practice's Medical Director is Akram Mustafa, MD. Care is provided in New Jersey only, and in person — the practice does not offer telehealth.
